RTC takes us on a wild ride into the depths of the illicit elephant trade in SE Asia. We meet trappers, smugglers, rangers, politicians, and activists in this exploration of an industry as steeped in criminal activity as an auto mechanic is in grease.
In the winter of 2007, RTC Director Tim Gorski and four other filmmakers teamed up with director/producer Dan Stone of Endeavor Media and traveled to the icy waters of Antarctica to film the epic documentary that sparked Animal Planet's Whale Wars. The resulting film has gone on to receive five festival awards.
