When nobody owns something, nobody takes responsibility for it. That’s something field producer Tim Gorski learned in five months of filming environmentalists efforts to prevent whale poaching in Antarctica, a continent without overseeing governance by any nation.
The film is Gorski’s second and he’s well on his way through his third.
“I’m all about the animals and the environment. When I had a chance to go aboard the Sea Shepherd and film their work, I jumped on it,” Gorski said. The resulting film, “At the Edge of the World” has two sold-out screenings scheduled this weekend.
Gorski’s now sorting through five months of filming in Burma for his third film about wild elephant poaching in Asia.
